Welcome to Campfire – a global future company. We own the brand Catooz® that accommodates comic brand owners and originators moving to a new level in mobile content. Catooz® is an interactive comic book made live from scratch.

Mobile storytelling

You just learned that you have won two tickets and a meet and greet with your favourite rock star. What do you do? Text all your friends! Share the good story like people have always done whether it was around a campfire or a kitchen table. This is what Campfire is about: We bring you storytelling of today through technology of tomorrow, and thus introduce a new path to global mobile entertainment.

Interactive and communicative

When creating new content our strategy includes two of the most talked about features in modern mobile content industry: The option to interact with users and to communicate online via network. All content is offered with both features, enabling the user to decide what to do, when to do it and with whom.


Attractive target groups

Our primary target group when creating content is young adults that are frequent users of cinemas and thus acquainted with comic universes through feature films with comic superheroes like Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, X-Men and Fantastic Four. Content however is not aimed at any particular age group, but may be enjoyed by all. Our content properties may include an element of education and are constantly subject to qualified evaluation of suitability for juveniles.

International Award

CAMPFIRE A/S wins the Zapping 2009 at Le Mobile 2.0 in Paris for its unique mobile service, bringing comic based entertainment to mobile phones. Zapping 2009 Award

Glenn Lau Rentius, CEO and founder of CAMPFIRE A/S, had the following comment after winning the competition: “We are very happy to win Zapping 2009 in front of a professional jury, because we were facing tough competition. As comics are an important part of French culture and tradition, it is also an honour being awarded in France, and I consider it a big mark of approval for CATOOZ.”
